A sole trader hairdresser was suffering financially due to the enforced “lockdown” Over a period of some 7 weeks, we corresponded with their Landlord’s agents, with a view to obtaining some measure of assistance. Initial reluctance was met with polite but reasoned response, until eventually a most generous proposal was received and accepted, with all parties feeling that the relationship had been strengthened.

A client with a high end but remote property used for weddings and film locations had a sever building defect but without recourse to legal remedy. We assessed the issues, sourced a suitable contractor, negotiated the work required, the timescale and the cost – and liaised between client and contractor to agree how and when the remedial work should be carried out.

Montana management were the perfect go-to company for my complicated and expensive roof problem. I was at a complete loss, caught between supplier guarantees, and two contractors who kept passing responsibility back and forth. A Property Investor was approached by their retail tenant – a National Charity – looking for assistance due to their reduction in income during Lockdown for Coronavirus. We negotiated and recommended a proposal to the Property Investor and passed this to the Charity.

A Private Landlord was approached by their tenant, looking for a rental reduction due to hardship caused by the Coronavirus pandemic. We analysed the situation, examined the various arguments, and proposed a solution to the Landlord. The proposal was put to the tenant and accepted.
